A Reponse To a Recurring Problem
The Bansko Buzz was created to solve a problem: there are news and events in Bansko, but sometimes people miss them. Yes, lots of things are shared in Facebook and WhatsApp groups, such as the Bansko Notice Board, but unless you’re willing to go through the hundreds of posts in them, you won’t see everything.
You’re at the mercy of the algorithms, or how much time you spend in those groups.
So the solution was a weekly email newsletter delivered at the end of the week: including information about the week’s news and happenings, and showcasing the upcoming events for the following week (as well as some commentary from Nick).

What has been happening this week in Bansko town, the local area, and other news stories in Bulgaria or the EU that could affect people’s daily lives, whether they are living here or visiting? Local municipality news and announcements are included.
Relevant Information
There is a summary list of the most relevant or popular posts in the Bansko Notice Board Facebook group, which Nick believes will be of interest to readers, as well as a Friday spotlight on a local business in Bansko.
Main Events
Four to five main events that are coming up, with a summary about what they are and why the reader should be interested in them. Then, during busier times (summer & winter seasons), any other events in a list with links to learn more about them.
